3 small rabbits, cut into 6 pieces
1-2 lemons
Flour for dredging
salt & pepper for taste
1-2 tablespoons of Peanut oil
Wad of sour cream

Rub rabbits with lemon and refridgerate over night. Wipe rabbits with damp cloth and sprinkle salt & pepper. Roll rabbits in flour and sear in hot skillet with peanut oil until browned on both sides. Place in a baking dish, cover with sour cream, bake @ 350 degrees for about 30 minutes. Serve on a bed of rice.

My son drew a tag for the October 3rd Youth Hunt at the Pee Dee NWR. I have hunted there on a draw hunt last November and killed the only deer I saw (a medium-sized 8-point) on one of the creek bottoms. I'm hoping to put him in postion to see more deer if possible. Any advice about where, time of day, over the cut corn or standing beans, Richmond County side or Anson, etc... I dove-hunted there last week and the managers have cut corn all over the refuge. Can anyone help me with aging this deer? I am not good at judging on the hoof. I am guessing 3 1/2
